Welcome!
Hi, I'm Anna, an LPC-Associate whose greatest passion is helping clients build a more grounded, self-trusting relationship with themselves. If you've been feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, self-doubt, or a quiet disconnection from yourself, you're not alone. Many people I work with describe pushing through life while feeling caught in overthinking, guilt, or uncertainty about who they are and how they want to show up. I work with empathy, unconditional positive regard, and without judgment to help you understand the patterns that keep you in these cycles. My desire is to help you feel more connected, intentional, and at ease in who you already are, not to become someone different, but to live with greater steadiness and self-support.
WORK EXPERIENCE
I have one year of experience providing counseling services to adolescents and adults. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and racial identity concerns. I utilize an integrative approach that draws from Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailoring techniques to fit your individual needs. In our sessions, we'll clarify what matters to you, make choices aligned with your values, and let go of unnecessary guilt around simply being yourself. Along the way, we'll build resilience so you can move through life with more intention and ease.
I provide teletherapy services and am available Monday through Saturday, with both morning and evening appointment times.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Master of Science (MS) in Mental Health Counseling (Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, TX, 2025)
ON A PERSONAL NOTE
I believe therapy is about building a relationship with yourself that feels honest, grounded, and sustainable. My work centers on helping you move through anxiety and self-doubt toward a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.
WHAT IS AN LPC ASSOCIATE?
IAn LPC-Associate is a counseling professional who has completed a master's degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited program and has passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE), but is still in the process of completing the required supervised clinical experience hours to become a fully licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. Under the regulations of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, LPC-Associates work under the supervision of a board-approved LPC-Supervisor while accumulating the necessary 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience.
During this time, they can provide counseling services in various settings such as mental health clinics, private practices, or community organizations. LPC-Associates often specialize in areas such as individual counseling, couples therapy, or substance abuse treatment, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working toward full LPC licensure.
